In 2005, her fabulous performance help to win twice at the CIF California State Meet with a good margin. In the senior year of high school, Allison finished 8th at the national junior championships and ranked 2nd in the national high school rankings with a new best of 4.14 m (13 feet 6.34 inches).
With rising fame as an athlete, Allison moved to the University of California, Berkeley to study sociology, where she became a member of the California Golden Bears and broke the school record of 4.11m.
